The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNBA) is a community-based, registered, non-profit organization, serving people in the North Bay catchment area – bounded by West Nipissing, Kirkland Lake, Mattawa and Huntsville – who are infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis C since 1991.

ACNBA’s mission is to assist and support all people infected and/or affected by HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C and to limit the spread of the viruses through education, outreach and treatment strategies.

Réseau ACCESS Network is a non-profit, community-based charitable organization, committed to promoting wellness, harm and risk reduction and education.  Réseau ACCESS Network supports individuals – and serves the whole community – in a comprehensive / holistic approach to HIV/AIDS, Hep C and related health issues.

The North Bay Indigenous Hub (NBIH) will provide a wide range of programming services including traditional healing, primary care, health promotion, chronic disease management, family-focused maternal/child health care, mental wellness care, diabetes care, and a culturally integrated licensed child care facility. All of the programs are to be delivered in a culturally safe manner to the local urban Indigenous population in addition to our partner First Nations, Nipissing, Temagami and Dokis First Nations.

The strategy is a provincially mandated AIDS service organization that provides outreach and support services, through regional outreach workers, to off-reserve Aboriginal Peoples who are living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
